Boy, is it windy out there!!!!

Today in class, we're going to do a few things, finishing up from our last class on Tuesday, and organizing ourselves for the rest of this course.

The first thing we'll do is take the quiz on the terms from Chapter 1.

Then, we're going to watch a demonstration of Wordle (link is on this blog) as a group. After that, we're going to break into three learning stations:

1. Creating your own Wordle. Your finished product will be a jpeg of a word cloud you created (includes taking a screen shot and cropping).
2. Practice reading a book using Elmo, the document camera. Each one of you will set up the camera and read a few pages of a children's book to your peers.
3. Set up a "board" in Pinterest for your tech tools. Finished product will be a "board" that you can save sites to.

After we've done these three things, we'll come together, as a group, and I'll start you on your assignment for Tuesday, January 21st.

Assignment for Tuesday, January 21st:

Create your own blog in Blogger. When you are finished, email me the link. You must email me the link before 2 PM on Tuesday, before class, in order for your assignment to be considered on time. The blog should be complete with a banner, picture, your own design, at least three widgets on the side, and a minimum of one blog post. Enjoy!
