In Class Today.....

We're going to begin class by reviewing the Acceptable Use Policies on the UTTC website. We talked about these last week so I want to be sure you aware that you, as UTTC students, are expected to follow these APUs.

We're then going to share your Lulu books so you can how your peers created theirs.

Four more things we're going to do in class today:
  1. We're going to review the calendar, or schedule, for the remainder of the semester (and beyond).
  2. We're going to familiarize ourselves with email forwarding, per my promise to you months ago.
  3. We're going to set up a Drop Box account.
  4. And, finally, we're going to access your Taskstream portfolios and set them up for your artifacts for this class.
Assignment for Thursday, April 3rd:
  • You will create a blank monthly calendar (for one month) on any software program of your choice.
  • You will then use the Veriquest scanner and printer in Jen Heid's office to transform your calendar into a format appropriate for a wall hanging or bulletin board.
  • Then, with assistance from somebody (Jen first, Leah second), you will laminate your big, blank calendar.
  • You will take three pictures with your phone, or a camera, appropriate for April, print them out in color, and attach them to your calendar.
  • You will then use a dry erase marker to write the information on this blog that I have provided you for the next month. Make sure to test a corner first so you don't write on it with permanent marker and that your marker will wash/wipe off.
  • Fun, fun, fun - remember, if you need help, ask Jen. Enjoy!
