Overview of the Last Few Class Periods

We've been doing a lot of things for this class lately but I have not been keeping up on this blog to reflect our activities!

What we are going to do in class on Thursday, April 23, and for the next two class periods next week, is wrap up a few things we've been working on and practice a few others so we don't forget them. Next week is our last week for classes so the semester is coming to an end soon.

This is what we're going to do in class this week:

• We are going to wipe the dates off the calendars you made and laminated.
• We are going to practice writing (letter formation) using the ScreenChomp app on our iPads.
• We are going to group apps on the iPads according to curricular area.
• We are going to upload our tech blogs to our TaskStream portfolios. We had tried to do this one of the last times we met but ran out of time.
• If we have time, we are going to access the ActiveBoard and practice starting and calibrating it.
• And we are going to complete the course evaluations for this course.

Assignments for Tuesday, April 29th:

• Write the numbers and the name of the month on your calendars using correct letter formation.
• Select and download a game from www.prometheanplanet.com to your laptop that has ActiveInspire installed on it. Be prepared to share the game you've selected in class on the ActiveBoard and demonstrate how to use it. We will be doing this on both Tuesday, April 29th, and Thursday, May 1st, in class. This assignment is due Tuesday but we may not have time to share all of them - but they you must be prepared by Tuesday.
